With September coming to a close, we thought it was time to share some exciting events coming to Chattanooga throughout the month of October.

Rabbit Valley Music Festival | Fri., Oct. 7-Sat., Oct. 8 | 6-10 p.m. | Ringgold Recreational Complex, 406 Cotter St., Ringgold, GA | $35+ | Enjoy a two-day festival of Americana music ~35 minutes from downtown Chattanooga.

Wine Over Water | Sat., Oct. 8 | 5-8 p.m. | Walnut Street Bridge | $125 | This fundraising event showcases ~200 wine varieties, food from local restaurants, and live music — must be 21+ to purchase tickets.

Chattanooga Hip-Hop Summit | Wed., Oct. 12-Sat., Oct. 15 | Various times | Waterhouse Pavilion + Bessie Smith Cultural Center | Free+ | This conference is focused on the hip-hop industry and how to find success in the genre.

Steve Martin & Martin Short | Sat., Oct. 15 | 8 p.m. | Memorial Auditorium | $65+ | This famous comedy duo’s “You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today!” show is sure to have you laughing.

Plywood Presents: What’s Good X Chattanooga | Tues., Oct. 18 | 7-9:30 p.m. | Common House Chattanooga, 1517 Mitchell Ave. | $39+ | Plywood Presents will make a stop in Chattanooga with a pop-up tour discussing meaningful work.

Lookout Comedy Festival | Wed., Oct. 19-Sat., Oct. 22 | Various times | Various locations | $5+ | Check out 30 comics over the span of four days — festival passes to attend all shows can be purchased for $50.

Witch & Warlock Paddle | Sat., Oct. 29 | 2-5:30 p.m. | Coolidge Park, 150 River St. | $25+ | Join River City Co. + Outshine Adventures for a paddle on the river dressed as witches, warlocks, and wizards.
