Each week, the Photo of the Day will feature a photo from the Chattanooga Public Library and The Chattanooga Memory Project. A description of the photo:

Election coverage in the WDEF-TV studio, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Steve Conrad is in the center and with glasses. Conrad worked for the station from 1958-1967 and then served on the Chattanooga City Commission from 1967-1975. The station went on the air in 1954 and was originally owned by Joe Engle, owner of the Chattanooga Lookouts baseball team.

The Chattanooga Memory Project was created by the Chattanooga Public Library to capture the city’s history from the perspective of individuals, including current and former residents and visitors to the Scenic City.
