Chattanooga Oktoberfest returns for its 21st year on Sat., Oct. 8 + Sun., Oct. 9 with fun-filled traditions and some new additions to the festival lineup. Here’s what you can expect during one of the city’s most anticipated fall festivals.
New to this year
- A “locals-only” themed biergarten, featuring a full setup from several local breweries with a wider selection of beers + an opportunity for enthusiasts to meet and chat with the brewers.
- Get ready to dance — you can take polka lessons at this year’s market.
Traditions
- The Wurstbrats Oompah Band (expect plenty of chicken dancing for the whole family)
- Bavarian cuisine + an expansive selection of local and seasonal beers (nearly 100 at that)
