Uh, ok — what is Startup Week?

Startup Week is all about Chattanooga’s entrepreneurship, innovators + business. The weeklong celebration features 80+ events like panel discussions, interactive workshops, presentations, networking opportunities, and even events that are just for fun.

After taking place virtually last year due to COVID-19, The Company Lab is bringing Startup Week back with the intention of reigniting the city’s entrepreneurial spirit.

How do I get involved?

The best part of Startup Week? It’s completely free for everyone, and you can pick + choose which events you’re most excited to join. All you have to do is:

  • Register to attend online
  • Scroll through all the events + add your favorites to your “schedule”
  • Pick up your badge at Waterhouse Pavilion in Miller Park before attending your first event
  • Show up for the events you chose to attend + have fun

Events to watch out for

Southside Lounge + Co-working @ The Chattery | Mon., Oct. 18-Thurs., Oct. 21 | 10 a.m.-4 p.m. | The Chattery | Co-work with others or just stop in to recharge.

Will This FLOAT? | Mon., Oct. 18 | 5:30-7:30 p.m. | Waterhouse Pavilion | 9 locals with innovative business visions will pitch their ideas in front of audience members + judges.

Sustainability and Recycling Pitch & Pilot Competition | Tues., Oct. 19 | 12-1:30 p.m. | Waterhouse Pavilion | In this presentation, 4 submission winners will present their pilot program ideas on how to better Chattanooga’s recycling program.

Tech & Startups & Jobs: Job Fair 2021 | Wed., Oct. 20 | 12-4 p.m. | Waterhouse Pavilion | Meet area employers from tech-enabled startups + major and mid-sized businesses that are hiring.

Makers Marketplace | Wed., Oct. 20 | 5:30-7 p.m. | Waterhouse Pavilion | Check out 30+ local vendors.

Startup Awards Afterparty | Thurs., Oct. 21 | 9 p.m.-3 a.m. | The Blue Light | Following the Startup Awards, this after party will feature music, speciality cocktails, and drink specials for Startup Week attendees.
