Chattanooga’s always been a city of innovation. It opened the first Coca-Cola bottling plant in 1899 and became the first city to offer one-gigabit internet in 2010. People here are constantly churning out new ideas — including these five Chattanooga-based startups we’re keeping an eye on in 2026.

Branch Technology | Founded: 2014
This 3D printing service uses giant robots to make everything from building facades to large-scale sculptures. Their patented technology aims to create energy-efficient, futuristic designs — like this TVFCU building in Chattanooga — and attracts clients worldwide.

EirSystems | Founded: 2018
This medical software company was born when cofounder Ryan Seaberg needed a better way to manage medications after a football injury. The platform helps hospitals and outpatient facilities safely track, dispense, and manage medications.

Shappi | Founded: 2021
Shappi used AI-powered logistics to get products to customers faster and cheaper. The company recently had to add a new warehouse to keep up with demand.

MenuData | Founded: 2022
This AI-powered platform helps restaurants and other brands spot trends, set prices, and plan new products by analyzing 300,000+ menus and social media posts. Customers include big names like Hyatt and Church’s Chicken.

SpotsNow | Founded: 2022
This platform is like a last-minute travel deal, but for podcasts and YouTube ads. Brands can grab open ad spots for up to 70% off and set them up in under three minutes.

Launch Tennessee has been investing in high-tech startups like these since 2012. We highlighted just five — you can explore other companies the nonprofit has helped fund here.
