June 19 is Juneteenth, a celebration of when Texas finally got word of the emancipation and all slaves were freed.

DYK? On May 18, the Chattanooga City Council unanimously passed ordinance No. 13671 , making Juneteenth an official paid holiday beginning in June 2022.
