For the first time ever, Chattanooga will host the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association’s High School Football Championships — aka the Blue Cross Bowl. Attendees can see the best players + teams in the state compete during the 3-day tournament, kicking off Thurs., Dec. 2, with champions being crowned through Sat., Dec. 4.

Three games will be held daily at Finley Stadium (1826 Carter St.) across 9 different divisions. See the full schedule. Tickets ($10/day) are available to purchase online ahead of time.

Chattanooga has a history of producing exceptional high school football players, such as NFL Hall of Famers Reggie White and John Hannah.

Bonus: Not only will the Scenic City be hosting the championships this year, but they’ll also play host again in 2022. ā“…
