Not all coffee shops have the ideal vibe for the meetings. Some spots are always crowded and you can barely hear the other person over the noise. Some places are always too quiet and literally everyone in the room can hear your conversation. ☕

But Chattanooga has some coffee shops that fall somewhere in the middle — the perfect spot to have a meeting without overwhelming crowds and sneaky eavesdroppers.

We chose the below shops based on their relatively neutral atmosphere, delicious coffee + convenient location.

Here are some ideal coffee shops for your next meeting:

An old stand-by for a good conversation, The Camp House is versatile for any kind of meeting you might have. Try some espresso + soda water.

This spot is perfect for your next one-on-one business meeting. You should try their seasonal Golden Cold Brew Fog Latté with turmeric and honey before winter ends.

Mad Priest is the new kid on the block with a Turkish-inspired interior. Try their classic brewed coffee (or, you know, have a cocktail 😉) with a close friend this week. And don’t forget to throw your cup in the compost bin after you’re done.

Try a funky latté with pineapple or candied orange syrup + munch on a fancy pastry in the Bluff View Art District – perfect for an out-of-town friend on a sightseeing day.

This two-story spot on the North Shore that’s good for a more intimate meeting – or even a date. 🥰 Visit in the evening and sip on a Turtle Mocha made with Ghirardelli chocolate, hazelnut + caramel syrups.

Another versatile spot, Cadence is a good, traditional coffee shop. Meet with your mentor over a mocha on the corner of 7th and Market.

A good place on the Southside to bring several people, Frothy is an airy, wide-open space adjacent to the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. We recommend their Monkey Mocha with banana syrup. (Trust us, it’s good. 🍌)

St. Elmo’s coffeehouse gem with a newly-expanded interior, their fragrant Sorghum and Sage Latté 🍃 is the most Instagrammable in town. Meet a new, interesting connection over one this week.

Sometimes it’s just the right kind of place. Starbucks will always have your favorite frappuccino with your name misspelled on the side.
