All aboard the Polar Choo Choo Express. The City of Chattanoooga + local nonprofit Signal Centers have unveiled the official ornament of 2024.

This tradition began in 2022 with the inaugural ornament depicting City Hall + each year, all proceeds go directly toward the HART Gallery. Now, you can decorate your trees with a little bit of the magic that the Chattanooga Choo Choo brings.

“The Chattanooga Choo Choo is a community icon and its transformation, reinvention, and historic preservation embody the spirit of our city,” said Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly.

The metal die-cut ornament can be purchased through the gallery (in-store or online), the Choo Choo’s gift shop + surrounding art galleries. Each ornament box will also include an insert of local artist Dominique Pruitt’s “Goddess Express” — the inspiration for this year’s collectible.

Bonus: You can still pick up the official ornaments of 2023 (a homage to the Tennessee Aquarium) + 2022.
