Looking for some Halloween costume inspo? We’ve got you covered. Last year, we took to Northside Neighborhood House (NNH) to thrift our costumes, and this year we’re back again with some more ideas.

Why thrift your costume? It’s a sustainable way to shop, you can find pieces to make your costume unique, it’s often cheaper, and you’re able to support local (which we’re big fans of).

Here are some of the costumes we pieced together from NNH:

Little Red Riding Hood

  • We found: Red dress, basket + stuffed wolf
  • You add: Cape + accessories

Donna Sheridan (from “Mamma Mia!”)

  • We found: Overalls + flowy shirt
  • You add: Your fellow members of Donna and the Dynamos + microphones

Tanya McQuoid (from “The White Lotus”)

  • We found: Sunglasses, head scarf + floral dress
  • You add: Jewelry, heels + a glass of wine (bonus points if you arrive on a Vespa)

Wednesday Addams

  • We found: Black dress + white collared shirt
  • You add: Black boots, braided hair + accessories

Barbie

  • We found: Pink dress, sunglasses + handbag
  • You add: More pink accessories + Ken

Oppenheimer

  • We found: Black suit jacket, button-up shirt + tie
  • You add: Hat + cigar

Bonus: Combine the last two costumes with a friend to dress up as “Barbenheimer.”
