Poppin Fashion, which focuses on plus sizes, now has a store inside Northgate.

Chattanooga’s downtown growth gets a lot of attention, but other areas of Hamilton County have plenty going on.

So we’ve started an occasional series that highlights business growth in different parts of town. In January, we highlighted East Brainerd.

Now, we’re looking at you, Hixson. 🙌

Fast fact: The online shop, which focuses on plus sizes, now has a store inside the mall. A mall spokeswoman said the store carries women’s fashionable, ready-to-wear clothing in all sizes.”

Fast fact: Orangetheory bills itself as “more than a gym” and provides “technology-tracked, coach inspired” group workouts.

Fast fact: Owners spent about five years trying to find the right location in the Chattanooga area for the restaurant, which offers American food with a “Southern bias.”

Fast fact: Panda Express is the country’s biggest Asian cuisine restaurant chain, and also recently opened a store in Ooltewah.
