Folks who want to get back to their neighborly roots + the feeling of a shared community might want to keep an eye on a new residential project, Fountain Avenue Cottage Homes.
This development, brought to you by Curbed Construction + MiKen Development, broke ground this week in the Belvoir area — here’s the blueprint.
The neighborhood will have 12 single-family homes, each with 3 bedrooms + floorplans that range from 1,400 to 1,750 sqft. Where does the community part come in?
“We’re excited to help bring their vision to life through this distinctive project that prioritizes connection, green space, and thoughtful design,” said Nolan Woody at Curbed Construction. | Rendering provided by Curbed Construction
Imagine a giant shared courtyard in the center of the cottage-style homes — homes that are connected by landscaping and sidewalks for a safe + walkable environment. Then, on the exterior of the development would be parking for cars — promoting pedestrian-friendly living.
Parkside Terraces, coming soon | 20 townhomes in the Southside Gardens neighborhood — expected to be completed by winter 2025
With construction underway, the Fountain Avenue Cottage Homes are projected to hit the market in early 2026.
