What if I told you you could party like you’re in New Orleans — without ever leaving Chattanooga? Enter: SeptemberFest.
The free, family-friendly event will take over Station Street this Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Expect food trucks, live music, more than 100 vendors, and even a petting zoo.
Keep in mind:Station Street is Chattanooga’s only social district, meaning adults 21+ can grab a drink from any of the participating bars and stroll the street with it — just like in New Orleans.

A heads up for drivers in East Ridge: John Ross Road — between Bennett Road and Greenslake Road — will be closed tomorrow through Friday, Sept. 5 for underground infrastructure improvements. Detour signs will be posted.
