Get your camping gear + road trip playlists ready, a new camper van rental business is about to launch, and you’re going to want to get behind the wheel as soon as the vans roll into town.

The company, Nomad be Happy, was founded by locals Robby and Lindsey Eskridge (you might also know them from another project, Music is our Medicine) and they are hoping to provide another travel option for Noogans — customizable camper van rentals.

Currently, they are still building out their website and getting the word out, but they are set to have the vans on May 15 and aim to start booking them by mid-June.

#VanLife

🚍 There will be two camper vans for rent in the beginning

🚍 They are 2019 Ford Transit vans from Vandoit Adventure Vans

🚍 The vans will be perfect for a family road trip, a couple, or a small group of friends — keep in mind that they are customizable, so there are a few different options for groups + families

But make it local

✅ The owners plan on doing “sip and see” events at breweries in nearby cities to promote local Chattanooga tourism + business

✅ Every camper van rental comes with a local gift bag — think Goodman Coffee, a Naked River pint glass, Hoff Sauce, and MoonPies.

✅ The van’s exterior will have a wrap that advertises local partners, which include:

ProTip: Be on the lookout for Nomad Be Happy to launch a YouTube channel and post how-to videos from local partners, like someone at Goodman Coffee sharing a technique for the best camp coffee.
