We are officially NOOGAtoday + here’s to seven more years

Nooga.com is Officially NOOGAtoday

Change is an inevitable part of this crazy world, and I’m sure you’ve noticed the last few days and weeks that Nooga.com has undergone a bit of a transmutation into NOOGAtoday.

Whether you’re just now finding us or you’ve been with us since 2011, let’s get reacquainted.

We’ll start here. Meet NOOGAtoday. We’re the same team behind Nooga.com – and we’re excited to re-launch with our trusted + loyal readers. Our goal is to make your life as a Chattanoogan a little easier and keep you in the know every day. We’ll do that by creating new ways to consume, participate in + share local news, events and need-to-know content with a conversational tone and participatory approach.

We’re not at it alone. NOOGAtoday is joining sister publications GVLtoday (Greenville, S.C.), COLAtoday (Columbia, S.C.), CHStoday (Charleston, S.C.), AVLtoday (Asheville, N.C.) + LALtoday (Lakeland, F.L.) which are all part of 6AM City.

What will NOOGAtoday do exactly? We’re here to give you everything you need to know about Chattanooga, every day.

Our daily newsletter will be sent every weekday at 6 a.m. This is your one-stop-shop for curated + concise information about all things Chattanooga that day, including need-to-know original content ranging from food + drink and events to civic issues and new developments.

📲 This all also lives over at NOOGAtoday.com, so you can search our archives to find your favorite articles or on-the-good info.

👀 And of course, we’ll be connecting with our readers 24/7 on social media. Join the conversation by following @NOOGAtoday on Facebook, Instagram + Twitter and stay up to date on our daily adventures. Bonus: Tag your Instagram photos #NOOGAtoday or #NoogaPOTD + be sure to tune into our daily Instagram Story for the day’s top highlights.

How do we really know what’s going on in town? 🏢

Like you, we’re Chattanoogans. Our core team has been here for 15 years and we all choose to make this lovely city our home.

And, with Nooga.com, we’ve been on the pulse of the city for seven years.

We can’t wait to keep bringing you locally-focused news, city + lifestyle content, now under the name NOOGAtoday.

Our team is made up of three locals – Adam Green, engagement editor; Chloe Morrison, multimedia journalist - business; and Sean Phipps, multimedia journalist - lifestyle — and two of the world’s most amazing interns/contributors Alina Hunter-Grah and Savannah Bennett. 🙌
