A twin brother duo is behind a new North Chattanooga pizza restaurant that’s opening soon.

Pizza Bros is aptly named for co-owners Cal and Jack Todd, who are from Chattanooga and conceived the idea about a year ago. 🍕🍕🍕

Cal, whose background involves working in restaurants and with pizza, is the chef and Jack handles the business side.

Through the new eatery, they will bring New York style pizza to customers.

“We are hoping that people will not only consider us a pizzeria but also a place to have a beer,” Cal said. “We plan on staying open until midnight. We can be another late-night spot on the North Shore.” 🍻

Customers will also be able to get cold cut hoagies, wings, salads🥗 + desserts. Cal is hoping to create his own cannoli.

The 1,600-square-foot space—which is next door to Sluggo’s—seats about 46 people.

The brothers gutted the space to revamp it and make it their own. They’ve built a unique bar from scratch using recycled boat wood.

The duo said the growing North Shore scene made for an ideal location for the self-funded business.

The Cherokee Boulevard area has grown in the past few years with housing and business additions, such as new apartment complexes, retail space and restaurants/bars.

This extension of Frazier Avenue is also getting a boost from development on nearby Manufacturers Road.

The brothers are “super close” because having an identical twin is like having a “built-in best friend,” Cal said.

The brothers will be working side by side at the pizzeria and Cal said the vibe will be approachable, affordable and family-friendly, in addition to being another late-night spot.

“We always wanted to work for ourselves; that’s the biggest reason we chose to open this place,” Cal said. “We wanted to make our footprint in Chattanooga. We love the city.” 💖
