The next installment of the Scenic City Supper Club will be the Southern Foodways Cast Iron Supper in downtown South Pittsburg.

On Nov. 4 beginning at 6 p.m. ET, guests will enjoy a cocktail hour and passed hors-d’oeuvres followed by a “bright and dynamic meal” at 7:30 p.m. ET. Supper clubbers have the option to take a guided tour of the Lodge Cast Iron foundry (located just two blocks from the supper venue on South Cedar Street).

The meal will be prepared by guest chef Cassidee Dabney (The Barn at Blackberry Farm), led by chef Erik Niel (Easy Bistro & Bar and Main Street Meats) and paired with wine from Robert Sinskey Vineyards and beer from Blackberry Farm. Other participants include Kenny Burnap (Kenny’s on The Southside), Kenyatta Ashford (Bridgeman’s Chophouse) and Jeff Virnig (Robert Sinskey Vineyards).

Styling and florals will be provided by Amand Niel and photography by Jaime Smialek (Our Ampersand Photography).

Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m ET. The cost is $200 per person. Only 120 tickets are available.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the Southern Foodways Alliance, which “documents, studies, and explores the diverse food cultures of the changing American South.”

The Southern Foodways Cast Iron Supper is made possible by the following sponsor Lodge Cast Iron and partners NOOGAtoday, Robert Sinskey Vineyards, San Pellegrino, Rent All, Blackberry Farm Brewery and Solid Rock Live.
