Hey, Chattanooga, we need to talk about something serious — the combination of breakfast + lunch, also known as brunch. We wanted to know what makes for a good brunch + our readers had strong feelings.

At NOOGAtoday, we are a little divided on our feelings on the topic. Sean wants plenty of lunch options, but Chloé is all about breakfast. Intern Jon Michael wants grits to be involved + our editor Adam wants a variety of options.

Check out what our readers said + weigh in with your favorite brunch location below.

“I’m a sucker for a good breakfast burrito or a hash. Involving cheese. And hot sauce. — @thelegitlinds

Eggs Benedict with a fried green tomato added to it …”

Shrimp and grits (not grit cakes) are always a happy place.” — @Nooga_Mel

Our Instagram audience listed these brunch essentials: freshness, eggs, homemade pop tarts, french toast, bacon. The most-mentioned brunch necessity was — wait for it — mimosas.

Cheers, y’all.

We want to hear your No. 1 Chattanooga pick. Email us at hello@noogatoday.com and tell us your favorite brunch spot.
