St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner (it falls on Sun., Mar. 17). If dressing up in green and drinking green beer is your thing, we have you covered with plenty of local events happening this weekend. Just look at it as our pot of gold to you. 🌈

  • St. Chatty’s Day Parade | Sat., Mar. 16 | 1 p.m. | Market + Main streets | Free | The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is hosted by Kids on the Block + The Shamrock Society. The parade starts at the intersection of Main + Market streets and ends at Miller Plaza.
  • St. Paddy’s Party on the Parkway | Sat., Mar. 16 | Noon-Midnight | Patten Parkway | $20 | The all–ages street party is designed to showcase and promote local and regional musicians + expect food and beer vendors. Nick Lutsko headlines on the outside stage at 11 p.m
  • Bitter Alibi St Paddy’s Day Bash | Sat., Mar. 16 | 825 Houston St. | 7 p.m.-Midnight | Free | A “standard” street festival including dancing in the street + good beer and food. Happy Hemp Farmacy and SunKissed Photo Bus will be on site.
  • St. Patrick’s Day in West Village | Sat., Mar. 16 | 4-11 p.m. | 801 Pine St. | Free | A family-friendly block party in the West Village, the event features street performers, food trucks, live music, a pop-up art show + laser light show.
  • The Communicators Present: That 90’s Show | Sat., Mar. 16 | 9 p.m. | Songbirds, 35 Station St. | $15 | A supergroup of local musicians gather together to perform the hits of the 1990’s. Guests can dress in green + bring their dancing shoes.
  • St. Patrick’s Day at JJ’s Bohemia | Sun., Mar. 17 | 7 p.m. | JJ’s Bohemia, 231 E. M.L. King Blvd. | $5 | A DJ takeover featuring 8 local promoters. The show is presented by Soundsystem Cultures.
  • 5th Annual St. Paddy’s Day Extravaganza | Sat. Mar. 16 | Noon - midnight | HiFi Clyde’s | $5 | Another block party to keep you in the streets. The Power Players will perform + drink specials and food.
