As another month has come and gone, we here at NOOGAtoday are reflecting on all we’ve been thankful for this year – which, most importantly, is y’all’s support.

We’re just one of the many organizations in Chattanooga whose wheels would stop turning were it not for the community showing us love by sharing our conversations via email, across social, and through word-of-mouth. We could not grow and thus achieve our goals, without our readers. And for that we thank you.

As we know we’re not the only ones who keep on keepin’ on through the advocation of our community, this Thanksgiving season we want to shine a light on those residents who give their time, support, and hearts to others in need.

And how do we hope to accomplish this? We’re encouraging y’all to share your stories + photos of how you give back to Chattanooga. Whether it be volunteering at a particular organization, assisting those less fortunate in your neighborhood, or even just making sure your trash can lid is securely closed to keep our streets clean – we want to know how you help us make Chattanooga a better place. We will then select four individuals to be voted on by you to receive a donation to the organization of their choice. Submissions can be sent via our social channels using #NOOGAtoday or by emailing us directly. All entries need to be sent in by noon, Thurs., Nov. 14.

Being just a team of two, we know that a little hard work can go a long way. Here’s to us coming together to give a little more thanks this season to those who need it most.
