With summertime quickly approaching, enrollment for local summer camps is already underway. Chattanooga has no shortage of educational, artistic, and adventurous opportunities for kiddos to have a blast.

If you need help making plans for the kids, check out these 10 summer camps in Chattanooga, TN.

Aqua Camp | The Tennessee Aquarium
Ages: 5-12, 9-14 + 13-16
Dates: June + July

Kiddos will have the opportunity to explore the world around them through hands-on animal encounters, Aquarium tours, and tons of activities.

Zoo Camp | The Chattanooga Zoo
Ages: K-5th graders + 6th-8th graders
Dates: June-August

These camps will be full of animal exploration, scientific discoveries, games, and crafts.

Summer Art Camp | The Hunter Museum of American Art
Ages: Rising 1st-6th graders
Dates: June + July

These camps are taught by local artists + museum professionals with a focus on a hands-on approach to artistic methods, materials, and inspirations.

Discovery Camp | Creative Discovery Museum
Ages: Preschool (4-5) + rising 1st-8th graders
Dates: June + July

Each camp is unique and filled with a variety of themes that bring art and science together for kids to enjoy in a safe environment.

Summer Academy | Chattanooga Theatre Centre
Ages: Rising 1st-12th graders
Dates: June-August

CTC’s Summer Academy features nearly 20 sessions for kids to learn acting, sketch comedy, musical theater, dance, and more skills.

Junior Explorer Camp | Chattanooga Audubon Society
Ages: 5-11
Dates: June + July

Kids will spend a week in the woods to learn outdoor skills, meet native animals, play games, and splash around in the creek.

Escape to Nature | Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center
Ages: 5-12
Dates: June-August

Children will explore, play, create, and learn on Reflection Riding’s 300-acre campus.

Rock Climbing Camps | High Point Climbing and Fitness
Ages: 5-10 + 11-14

High Point’s camp staff will teach kids all about rock climbing and team building through age-appropriate group instruction.
