Eleven Chattanooga companies made the annual list of Inc. Magazine’s 5,000 fastest-growing, privately held companies.

This year’s list dropped Wednesday + trucking logistics companies dominated locally. They don’t call this area Freight Alley for nothing.

We even have a locally based media + analytics company, called Freightwaves, which is solely dedicated to the trucking logistics industry. Check out this article + podcast with Freightwaves founder and industry veteran Craig Fuller, who talks more about how Chattanooga became the Silicon Valley of trucking.

Last year, there were 13 Chattanooga companies on the list. In 2018, Chattanooga boasted nine companies on the list — up from five in 2017.
