Good morning, lovelies. Chloé here. We’ve made it to Wednesday, even though this week has already felt like a year. Amirite?

We were all in the middle of managing COVID-19 when tornadoes and storms rocked the city — talk about stress. And we know that’s all on top of the millions of daily details you’re all juggling on any given day. We’re right there with ya.

And, I don’t know about y’all, but stress can make me physically ill. So between that and coronavirus, I’ve been feeling like it can’t hurt to fuel my body with healthy goodness.

Erlanger Health System has a great post about how to keep a healthy immune system and part of that is keeping a nutritious diet.

For example, citrus fruits, seeds + veggies are known immune boosters, according to Erlanger. And, you should get four servings of fruit per day and five servings of vegetables a day.

If you’re using canned goods try to avoid those with sauces and syrups, which can add unneeded calories, sugar and salt.

So with all that in mind, we found a few local businesses that offer immune-boosting treats.

You can support a local business while supporting your health.
