Grab your sparkly attire and confetti — it’s time to ring in a new year. We’ve rounded up a guide to some of the best parties the Scenic City has to offer on Sunday, Dec. 31.

Family-friendly

Creative Discovery Museum, 321 Chestnut St.
Bring the kiddos from 12 to 4 p.m. for interactive fun + a special apple juice toast to the new year. This event is free with museum admission.

City of Chattanooga, 200 Broad St.
The official city celebration will take place in front of the Tennessee Aquarium beginning at 8 p.m. + features live music, vendors, a light show, a New Year’s countdown tower, and more family fun.

Wooden City, 203 Broad St.
Get a front row seat to the city’s party by reserving a table on this spot’s patio. Tables come with a complimentary bottle of champagne and full access to the menu + is yours from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. (and you can come and go as you please). Reservations are $150.

Smith Planetarium, 409 Pond Springs School Rd., Chickamauga, GA
Enjoy this all-ages event to see local DJs under the dome accompanied by light effects. The show starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are cash-only for $15 at the door.

Dave & Buster’s, 2084 Hamilton Place Blvd.
Starting at 4 p.m., you can head to this arcade to enjoy unlimited gameplay all night, an all-ages ginger ale toast, and a video countdown. Tickets start at $53.15.

Puckett’s Restaurant, 145 Market St.
From 8 to 10 p.m., listen to live music from Zech Dallas while enjoying dinner. There will be a $10 cover added to your bill for kiddos 13+.

Dread Hollow, 321 Browns Ferry Rd.
Celebrate the new year with a scream — the folks at this local haunted attraction will put on two nights of holiday horror on Saturday, Dec. 30 + Saturday, Jan. 6. Tickets start at $17.

Pop into this speakeasy-style downtown bar for its annual party featuring a DJ and champagne deals. For the all-nighters — pay a $50 cover to get a seat for the midnight toast + get free champagne, a goody bag, and confetti cannons.

Common House, 1517 Mitchell Ave.
Spend an evening at this social club for its Grand Cuckoo Party, featuring DJ Kevin Bell, a champagne tower, and canapés. This event is free to members + non-member tickets are $50.

Don your rhinestones to party like Dolly Parton at this house party with a ball drop, open bar, hors d’oeuvres, a DJ + champagne toast. Tickets start at $160.

Step into the Roaring ‘20s during this New Year’s Eve celebration with live music from 10-piece band Gwen Hughes and The Retro Kats + an open bar, small bites, and toast. Tickets start at $185 with an option to add a hotel room booking.

Countdown the ball drop with scenic views from rooftop bar Whiskey Thief. For $175, you can listen to a DJ, get two drink tickets, enjoy a dinner buffet, and more.

The Granfalloon, 400 E. Main St.
End the year masquerade-style from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. while enjoying tunes spun from DJ Pepper, party favors, and a toast at midnight. Tickets start at $50 and benefit the Chattanooga Autism Center.

The Comedy Catch, 29 Station St.
Ring in 2024 by laughing with Lester Bibbs during back-to-back performances. The 10 p.m. show includes party favors, post-show dancing, and a toast. Tickets start at $25.

Enjoy a free show with The Other Brothers while sipping on local beers — doors open at 9 p.m.

Neon Moon will be putting on a ‘90s country tribute show at 9 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance + $40 day of show.

Get ready for an evening of Hollywood Glam at this boutique hotel. Attendees will get complimentary valet, drinks + small bites, tunes spun by DJs, and more. Tickets start at $65.
