The Chattanooga Green Prix will showcase students’ electric power race cars

From Fri., Oct. 28-Sat., Oct. 29, Hamilton County Schools students will present the electric power race cars they designed and built this past semester — then, they’ll race ‘em.

More than 25 EV clubs with students from 9-18 years old will compete in the annual Chattanooga Green Prix , the curriculum of which helps prepare future generations for the electrification of transportation + careers in renewable energy fields.

The free-to-attend event will take place on the Chattanooga Riverfront, with elementary school teams racing on Friday and middle + high school teams racing on Saturday.
