Happy Valentine’s Day, Chattanooga. 💘 Trista here, and I don’t get sappy often, but I love this city so. much.

To prove it, I wrote a Shakespearian sonnet. I didn’t compare Nooga to a summer day, or even a rainy one which would have been on-brand, but instead tried to give a little nudge to all the things I love about this place. I hope you all enjoy + relate to it, and if you’re up for the challenge, write your own poem and send it to us. We’d love to share the love. 🥰

Be Mine, Chattanooga

There is so much to love, adore about you

In spring, the lush, bold blooms and waterfalls

Autumn, the falling leaves of deep, rich hues

Every season, new sights — nature’s wild calls

You have mountains and rivers to explore

Lula Lake to Signal Point and North Chick

You are loved by locals, tourists, and more

Nooga, it’s no secret you make hearts tick

And oh, the folks who occupy this space

They spark conversation — thoughts old and new

Community balanced with snags and grace

Through thick and thin your admirers stay true

And yes, I’ve called other cities my home

But Chatt, will you always be mine to roam?
