It’s no secret that you work hard — especially Monday through Friday. But Chattanooga doesn’t slow down after 5 p.m. Give yourself a break from your usual after-work routine and hit the town with these weekly events.

Monday

If Monday has you singing the blues, you might as well go to Monday Night Blues Jam at Gate 11 Distillery at 7:30 p.m. Host Jimmy G. will take the stage along with other local musicians. If you’d rather keep your brain sharp and test your knowledge, head to the North Shore for Trivia Night at Stevarinos Italian Eatery & Pub at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday

Tuesday offers up another chance for you to see some live blues music, this time at Jhett Black’s Tuesday Blues Days at 6 p.m. at The Woodshop in St. Elmo. If you missed Monday’s trivia opportunity, FEED Co. Table & Tavern hosts live trivia every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Pro tip: If trivia isn’t going your way, you can still enjoy $4 pints and half-price wine.

Wednesday

Save your appetite for all-you-can-eat wings at Doc Holidays Bar & Grill. It happens every Wednesday, costs $15.95, and they have a lot of different sauces you can choose from. Editor Sarah here: My friends and I like to channel our inner Joey Chestnut and have an eating contest to see who can put away the most wings. Spoiler alert: I never win. If you’d rather do the opposite of eat wings, join Oddstory Brewing Co.'s weekly run club at 6 p.m. — then treat yourself to a well-earned discounted beer.

Thursday

Celebrate almost making it to the end of the work week with Wine Down Thursdays at Whitebird, located in The Edwin Hotel. For $14, you can sample five featured wines and then enjoy a glass of your favorite. Or, if you’re itching for the spotlight, you can participate in Open Mic Night at WanderLinger Brewing Company. It happens every Thursday from 7-10 p.m.

Friday

As we inch closer to fall, you won’t want to miss out on the Campfire Concert Series happening Friday nights at Reflection Riding. Tickets are available for the first concert featuring Milele Roots on Friday, Sept. 12. Each event will feature live music, food vendors, s’mores, and drinks from Hutton & Smith Brewing Company and Chattanooga Whiskey.
