Whether you’re after family fun or adult thrills, here are some spooky events still happening this month.

Halloween is creeping closer, and Chattanooga has no shortage of ways to get into the spirit — from glowing pumpkin trails to haunted houses and festive parties.

Here are 12 events still brewing this spooky season:

Family friendly

Ghouls, Goblins, & Witches: Haunted Grounds | Friday, Oct. 24-Sunday, Oct 26 | McDonald Farm | Enjoy festive fall treats, corn mazes, live music, kids’ games, character encounters, and Halloween fun for all ages at this family-friendly celebration.

Haunted Market | Sunday, Oct. 26 | First Horizon Pavilion | Families can trick-or-treat and participate in a costume parade at the Chattanooga Market.

Rails, Wizards, & Spells Train Ride | Friday-Sunday through Oct. 31 | Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum | Board a magical train, explore an enchanted forest, enjoy wizard-themed games and sweets, and catch a live potion demonstration during this immersive experience.

Enchanted Pumpkin Patch | Through Friday, Oct. 31 | Rock City | This beloved Chattanooga attraction has transformed into a glowing autumn wonderland with towering pumpkins, spooky décor, and festive fun for the family.

Boo in the Zoo | Select weekends in October | Chattanooga Zoo | Families can enjoy trick-or-treat stations, costume contests, bounce houses, character meet-and-greets, and plenty of Halloween fun with animals.

ODDtober | Through Friday, Oct. 31 | Tennessee Aquarium | Celebrate the strange and fascinating side of nature with eerie animal programs, underwater pumpkin carving, and fun surprises all month long.

Halloween Pup Crawl | Saturday, Oct. 18 | Downtown Chattanooga | Bring your pup and your Halloween spirit for a festive crawl through downtown breweries, complete with drink specials, costume contests, and adoptable animals.

Frights & Pints | Thursday, Oct. 23 | Chattanooga Zoo | It’s time to leave the kids at home for an adults-only night at the zoo with drinks, dancing, and fire performers.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” | Friday, Oct. 24-Saturday, Nov. 1 | Barking Legs Theater | Celebrate 50 years of Rocky Horror with an interactive mix of film, live shadow cast, wild costumes, and audience props — the final performance will be a neurodivergent/accessible showing.

Glitz, Ghosts & Gatsby Halloween Party | Friday, Oct. 31 | The Read House Hotel | Dress to impress in your best Ghastly Gatsby attire for a roaring and haunting good time with cocktails, light hors d’oeuvres, and costume contests.

Hits96 Gravediggers Ball | Friday, Oct. 31 | Barrelhouse Ballroom | Break out your boldest, scariest costume for a shot at cash prizes, plus a free raffle featuring giveaways like concert tickets to Sabrina Carpenter.

Lantern Tour: Ghost Walk Edition | Select nights through Friday, Oct. 31 | Ruby Falls | With nothing but lanterns to light your way, walk through the eerie underground passageways while listening to ghost stories and Chattanooga legends.

Dread Hollow | Thursday-Sunday nights through Nov. 2 | 321 Browns Ferry Rd. | This nationally recognized haunted house features three new interactive nightmares: Belle Royale Hotel, Dreadwood Forest, and Dread Hollow High School.
