The Scenic City is a magical place already, but what type of wizarding house would it be?

Last week, we asked you what Hogwarts house you thought Chattanooga would belong to, and after some magical deliberations it appears the winner is — Hufflepuff.

Before you badger us as to why, here are some of our favorite reasons from you all + the contributors’ personal house.

“Chatt feels like a warm hug.” — Brit D. (Hufflepuff)

“Cedric Diggory would def live in Chattanooga.” — J.M. (Hufflepuff)

“Chattanooga is a great community centered city, always helping build up the people that live here. Very Hufflepuff!” — Gabrielle D. (Hufflepuff)

Note: Ravenclaw was only one vote behind, here are some honorable mentions as to why.

“We have so much emphasis on creative endeavors and new upstart companies. Chattanooga puts tremendous effort on the arts and culture.” — Kimberley M. (Ravenclaw)

“Keep Chattanooga weird!” — William S. (Ravenclaw)

“Individualism and creativity are hallmarks of Chattanooga’s heritage and history.” — Grant J. (Gryffindor)

Editor Haley here. Remember when I said I personally vote for Hufflepuff? Chattanooga is just so Hufflepuff-coded to me with our outdoors scene + overall granola-esque vibes in this cozy little city. I’ve encountered some of the nicest and humble folks while living here.

Bonus: Your favorite daily newsletter is headed by two Ravenclaws.
