Change with the Rock City Seasons

Lookout Mountain attraction Rock City recently announced it will bring intentionality with its programming based on the seasons. Read on for the changes you can expect as Rock City Seasons takes over the grounds.

Stay in the four seasons of Rock City Gardens.

The flowers will bloom and the leaves will fall around the Rock City Gardens, and with each transition, you can celebrate the changes with Rock City Seasons.

Out with the old, in with the new. The local attraction is trading in its annual events (Shamrock City, EarthDayz, Southern Blooms Festival, Summer Music Weekends + Rocktoberfest) for new programming that will make each season the focal point.

  • Spring Blooms | Monday, March 4-Sunday, May 12 | See the florals and art installations along the trail. Bonus: Keep an eye out for a new Rock City Night experience beginning in April, the Flora Luna.
  • Mountaintop Summers | Friday, May 24-Monday, Sept. 2 | Immerse yourself with the Raptors birds of prey show.
  • Fall Colors | Saturday, Sept. 14-Friday, Nov. 8 | Hear from banjoist Matt Downer while walking the pumpkin-decorated trails.
  • HoliDAYS | Friday, Nov. 22-Saturday, Jan. 4 | Enjoy the Enchanted Garden of Lights.

Note: You can expect special celebrations, performances, activities, and more during each season.
