EPB recently unveiled the final wall of murals of its 10th Street Substation — completing the four-year project.

Ending on the final theme of “The Magic of Unity,” these murals highlight “the possibilities of change when we work together as one.”

  • “Together We Shine Brighter” by Christen McNelly
  • “Collective Magic” by Jaclyn Lewis
  • “The Magician” by Jerome Foster
  • “The Art of Unity” by Juanita Montgomery
  • “Lift One Another” by Justin Butts
  • “Double Dutch” by Karen Estes
  • “Seeds of Hope” by Lexi D’Ambrosio
  • “Bessie” by Olivia Reckert
  • “ChattUnity” by Rea Shaw
  • “Garment of Destiny” by Sofia Rudakevych

“Thanks to EPB for having the vision to create a space for community art,” said ArtsBuild President James McKissic. “The mural project has transformed this section of 10th Street into a point of pride for the local art community and for the MLK neighborhood.”

You can check out the new murals on the southeast-facing wall of the substation (facing the Douglas Heights Apartments).
