Scenic City Clay Arts (SCCA) will host its first-ever Day of Clay fundraising event on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at its classroom (1271 Market St.).

The family-friendly event will connect the community to the craft of pottery making in a more affordable way.

“We wanted to offer a low-cost way to support SCCA and also introduce more people to clay arts who may have never experienced it before.” — Development Manager Sara Bell

Each ticket will get you access to:

  • Pumpkin hand-building lessons
  • A community sculpture project
  • SCCA’s signature smash booth
  • Wheel-throwing sessions — Note: Pre-registration is required + opens up on Monday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. (a link will be sent to the email attached to your ticket)
  • A dunk tank
  • A silent auction
  • A burger from Smash Boyz + a drink from Penny’s Lemonade

Bonus: Drink a brew from Wanderlinger Brewing Co. for $5 per drink ticket.
