“Make. Play. Read. Learn.” gets Ride & Read bus passes

In a partnership with CARTA, the Chattanooga Public Library will offer Ride & Read bus passes during its annual Make. Play. Read. Learn. summer challenge for kiddos.

The Chattanooga Public Library’s “Make. Play. Read. Learn.” program is getting a new incentive, thanks to a partnership with CARTA. Enter: Read & Ride bus passes.

These passes will be available to K-12th graders who sign up for the summer reading challenge, which is happening from Saturday, June 1 through Saturday, July 20. Not only will students be able to ride to the library for free, but these passes will get you access to rides all over the city.

Pro tip: Get acquainted with CARTA’s routes + schedules.

The bus passes will be available for pick up starting Monday, May 27 at all library branches + will be valid from the start of the challenge through Wednesday, July 31.

Note: Passes for K-5th graders include fare for an accompanying adult.
