Join the Hiwassee River Blueway for its annual fundraising event “Rail to River” on Saturday, June 24, along with a weekend full of recreational activities for outdoor enthusiasts.

The fundraiser will be a multimodal experience with funds raised to support Hiwassee River Blueway’s mission of “preservation, conservation, economic development + responsible tourism” for the areas that touch the Hiwassee River.

The Blueway is partnering with several organizations, including Chattanooga’s own Outshine Adventures, to offer attendees a scenic train ride on the Hiwassee Rail to the put-in + a five-mile paddle on the Hiwassee River (from Reliance to Delano).

Note: Paddlers can bring their own paddle crafts or rent inflatable kayaks + stand up paddle boards.

In addition to the main paddling event, the weekend will be full of live music, food + outdoor adventures like fly fishing lessons, camping, snorkeling, and so much more.

Check out the full weekend itinerary + grab your tickets.
