Back in May, we shared news about River City Co. launching its Emerging Producers Program — an effort to provide resources to artists + organizations with less than two years of event management experience.

Now, the organization has announced the six cohort members who will learn how to create unique + diverse event experiences in Chattanooga. Meet the participants:

  • Cortina Jenelle Caldwell
  • Pedro Rivas Mella
  • Brianna Jones
  • Kevin Bate
  • Randi Franklin
  • Courtenay Gillean Cholovich

During the first phase of the program, the cohort will receive in-depth training + the final phase will empower the members to host their own events later this year.

“This program will provide the cohort members the technical expertise to host successful events in downtown this year and for many years to come,” said River City Co. President + CEO Emily Mack. “Not only will people come out to enjoy this series of events, but while in downtown, many will take the opportunity to patron our local businesses, furthering the impact of the program.”
