If taking an improv class is on your bucket list, now’s the time to cross it off.

Improv Chattanooga is partnering with Mountain Arts Community Center in Signal Mountain to offer several one-night summer drop-in classes in June + July. Each drop-in class will last two hours + delve into a different aspect of improv.

Improv Chattanooga’s Executive Director and Artistic Director Steven Disbrow said the classes are open to folks from every skill level + suggested the “Improv Crash Course: The Absolute Beginner’s Intro to Improv Comedy” class on Tuesday, June 20 for those who are new to the theater form.

Bonus: Want the kiddos to join in on the fun? The “Improv for Kids” class will be on Tuesday, July 11, or head to the next “That Would Be Silly” kids-only show on Sunday, June 25.

The full list of dates + topics (some TBA) are available online. You can reserve your spot in the class for $15 or pay at the door.

Still have stage fright? Stop by Improv Chattanooga’s next free open house event on Monday, June 26 at The Edney to watch the main troupe perform + participate in the fun.
