What Chattanooga day would you love to relive?

We’re pretending we’re Bill Murray’s character in “Groundhog Day.”

Two ment dressed in balck suits with top hats — one is holding a scroll, the other is holding Punxsutawney Phil.

Here’s to hoping Punxsutawney Phil doesn’t make us relive winter for six more weeks.

It’s Groundhog Day, when Punxsutawney Phil emerges to predict whether we’ll be shivering for another six weeks. The tradition dates back to Feb. 2, 1887, when a Pennsylvania newspaper editor crowned the groundhog the official predictor of an early spring.

But Groundhog Day also brings to mind the 1993 movie of the same name, where Bill Murray’s character gets stuck reliving the same day over and over again. That got us thinking: If you could relive one day in Chattanooga, what would it be and why?

Editor Sarah here: I’ll go first. I’d relive Friday, June 15, 2012 — the night the Goo Goo Dolls headlined Riverbend Festival. Watch this shaky video to reminisce with me. I danced with my best friend, scream-sang every lyric at the Coca-Cola Stage, and wolfed down a footlong corndog to recharge. It was perfect.
