Before we know it, more than 2,500 athletes from around the world will be right here in the Scenic City for IRONMAN Chattanooga.

If it feels like we just had an IRONMAN event — you’re not imagining things. That was IRONMAN 70.3, which is half the distance of the race happening on Sunday, Sept. 28. This time, athletes will swim, bike, and run a total of 140.6 miles.

Whether you’re planning to cheer them on, volunteer, or steer clear of the area, we’ve got you covered with the details.

Triathlon specifics

  • 2.4-mile swim
  • 112-mile bike
  • 26.2-mile run
