A family-owned and operated, upscale Asian restaurant is slated to open in Ooltewah’s Cambridge Square next year. Cleveland, Tennessee, residents Evan Chen and Ashlee Anderson will oversee operations of Fulin’s Asian Cuisine in Cambridge Square, which is a mixed-use development located in Ooltewah, Tennessee just off I-75’s exit 11. Fulin’s has been around since 2004 and has locations in Tennessee and North Alabama. The restaurant’s parent company emphasizes hiring local employees and sourcing its food from local vendors, according to a news release. The restaurant offers a fusion of Chinese and Japanese dishes. It will be open for lunch and dinner, offering takeout and dine-in service. The lunch atmosphere will be casual and geared toward patrons who are looking for a great meal on a limited schedule. At night, the experience will lean more upscale, where patrons can try new dishes and spend time relaxing with friends and family, according to a news release. “Fulin’s is quite simply a fantastic concept,” Cambridge Square Marketing Director Jim Cheney said in a prepared statement. “They add a much-needed category to Cambridge’s culinary offering, and they are very excited about entering the Ooltewah market. Fulin’s is a game-changer when it comes to Asian cuisine. We are thrilled to make this announcement.” The menu includes vegan and gluten-free options, as well as sushi and sashimi. Cambridge Square office, retail and restaurant tenants include 1885 Grill and Tavern, Heaven & Ale, Heaven & Ale, Lupi’s Pizza Pies, MedX Services, Mixed Up Cup, Mojo Burrito Morning Pointe/IHP and Outreach Chattanooga.
