13 companies in Chattanooga + the surrounding area rank among the fastest-growing private companies in the nation, according to the 2021 Inc. 5000 list.👏

Inc.com determined rankings for 5,000 companies in the US according to percentage revenue growth over a 3 year period. Chattanooga is home to 12 of the 120 TN-based companies that made the list this year.

These 11 companies had a median growth of 302%, total revenue of $385 million, 478 jobs added, and 6 repeat honorees.

Plus, local company FreightWaves was the No. 1 fastest-growing Tennessee company on the list. Even more impressive? Just 2 years ago, FreightWaves had lost half of its revenue.
