Chattanooga’s annual two-day Head of the Hooch regatta will take place this weekend, Saturday, Nov. 4-Sunday, Nov. 5.

Folks can gather along the Tennessee River to cheer on registered teams as they row a 4,500-meter course that will end at Ross’s Landing. Pro tip: Check out the full race schedule .

The best spots to watch? Try one of these locations:

  • Walnut Street Bridge for an aerial view
  • Coolidge Park for a quieter setting
  • Ross’s Landing for a crowd + finish line view
  • Somewhere along the Tennessee Riverwalk for the spot you think is best, based on the race course
