While we are definitely enjoying the abnormally warm weather at this time, winter is coming. No need to worry, the cooler weather doesn’t have to put a stop to enjoying the outdoors or exploring our city.
In yesterday’s newsletter, we gave some tips + recommendations on winter hiking in the area. Today, we’re rounding up a list of coffee shops, bars, and other restaurants with heated patios, so you can stay warm while enjoying your favorite spots.

Be Caffeinated | NorthShore location, 14 W. Kent St. | Be Caffeinated has two large patios, one that is heated and plastic insulated + one with a fire pit.
Neidlov’s Cafe & Bakery | 215 E. Main St. | Grab a coffee + pastry and sit by the fire pit in the outside seating area to keep warm.
Rembrandt’s Coffee House | 204 High St. | A quaint spot in Chattanooga’s Bluff View Art District, the patio has a partially heated space for you to cozy up with your coffee.

Terminal BrewHouse | 1464 Market St. | Terminal has several outdoor seating options, and the upper patio has several heaters to keep you toasty.
Flying Squirrel | 55 Johnson St. | The Flying Squirrel has a huge outdoor seating space, complete with multiple heaters and fire pits.
Pickle Barrel | 1012 Market St. | Climb up the winding staircase to sit at the rooftop bar that has heaters + plastic insulation. Grab a bite to eat and don’t forget the pickle back — don’t knock it until you try it.
State of Confusion | 301 E. Main St.| At State of Confusion, you’ll have a number of ways to stay warm outdoors with a large fire pit, several outdoor heaters, and winter igloos that can be reserved for 4-6 people.
Five Wits Brewing Company | 1501 Long St. | Try out one of the many craft beer options and sit in the outdoor patio with plenty of heaters to keep everyone warm.
Naked River Brewery | 1791 Reggie White Blvd. | Naked River Brewery’s outside seating features a couple of heaters along with its artificial grass + corn hole (so it feels like it’s always summer).
Exile Off Main Street | 1634 Rossville Ave. | This funky dive bar has fire pits, heaters, and music.
Hotel Indigo | 300 W. 6th St. | West Village’s stylish Hotel Indigo features two outdoor seating sections with heaters + a large fire pit for its bar.
HiFi Clyde’s | 122 W. Main St. | Clyde’s back area + outdoor seating area is enclosed and heated when the temperatures drop.
Feed Table & Tavern | 201 W. Main St. | The Tavern side of the restaurant has an outdoor patio with ceiling heaters + plastic insulation to keep you comfortable while enjoying your drinks.
Southside Social | 1818 Chestnut St. | Grab your friends for a night out with drinks + plenty of games at Southside Social. The downstairs patio has several stand up heaters around the seating area to keep you warm.
