Area business Solutions Printing is offering school apparel at a discount every Friday. At both the Chattanooga and Dayton locations, General Manager John Tipton offers $5 short-sleeve T-shirts for several schools. At the Hixson store, customers can find shirts for Hixson, Red Bank, Sale Creek and Soddy-Daisy schools. The Dayton location carries Rhea County, Sale Creek, Meigs County and Bledsoe County schools. There are new designs every Friday, and Tipton posts them on Facebook Thursday night. “My parents were teachers before they started this business and wanted to do this $5 Friday so parents could afford for their family to purchase school related apparel at a reasonable price,” he said. If there’s interest from other schools, Tipton said he will expand the product line.
