This week is packed full of events celebrating education + the arts in the Scenic City, and it will be extra special with two of the most anticipated events of the year happening at the same time. Of course we mean the CFF + 4 Bridges.

We chose our #MustDo events this week to underscore the city’s culture of creativity + striving for excellence.

Carmen: A Preview in the Park | Mon., April 8 | 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | Miller Park, 910 Market St. | Free | CSO’s “Carmen” cast members will preview songs from the show during lunchtime. 🎻

UTC Theatre Co. presents “Cats” | April 8-13 | 8 p.m. | UTC Chamberlain Pavilion and Field | Free | Bring a blanket or chair + no alcohol permitted. Limited reserved seating for $20. 😸

PEF 30th Anniversary Luncheon | Wed., April 10 | 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Chattanooga Convention Center, 1 Carter Plaza | $45-$65 | Celebrating 30 years + exceptional teaching. Four individuals will be honored. 👨‍🏫

Chattanooga Film Festival 2019 | April 11-14 | Chattanooga Theatre Centre, 400 River St. + The Moxy Chattanooga, 1220 King St. | $15-$200 🎬

Money School Presented by CNE | Sat., April 13 | 8 a.m.-1 p.m. | The BX (Brainerd Crossroads), 4011 Austin St. | Free | Financial education for youth and adults. Breakfast and lunch provided + giveaways. 💵

19th Annual 4 Bridges Arts Festival | April 13-14 | 10 a.m.-6 p.m. | First Tennessee Pavilion, 1826 Reggie White Blvd. | $5 | Tickets at the door. There’s also a ticketed preview event April 12 for $125. 🖼
