The City of Chattanooga has launched its new city website, ending a three-year-long development process + marking its first redesign since 2011. Users can now make payments online, access documents like council agendas and contracts, and more.
Civic
Seasonal burn permits will be available for Hamilton County residents beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Residents can obtain their permits from the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau to be able to burn brush + vegetation from their property through Wednesday, April 30.

SNAAP is testing a new ride-sharing solution in the Scenic City. The autonomous pods operate on an elevated ribbon way 16-ft above the ground. Take a peek at the pods. (NewsChannel 9)
Festival
This is no joke, Chattanooga’s Lookout Comedy Festival is coming back from Wednesday, Oct. 16 through Saturday, Oct. 19. The annual event will feature 30+ comedians across 11 shows. Performances will take place at multiple venues in the city, and festival passes are now available.
