News Notes

Watch

In case you missed it, the Smithsonian National Zoo’s Panda Cam is back. The popular webcam of the zoo’s pandas returns as it welcomes Bao Li and Qing Bao. We love the pandas, but they could never overtake our love for the Tennessee Aquarium’s otter cam. (The Washington Post)

Drink

Spirits sales are down by 1.1% — with one exception. Tequila sales are up by 2.9%. As good an excuse as any for National Margarita Day today (and our favorite happy hour spots).

Number

~$80.2 billion. That was DoorDash’s 2024 gross order value, which reminds us that we didn’t pick up groceries today... time for some takeout. (Sherwood News)

The Wrap

Happy weekend, Nooga. I’m so excited to see one of the final performances of “SIX” at Memorial Auditorium. It will be my first Broadway show in the Scenic City, and I still have my fingers crossed I can snag tickets to “Hamilton” this spring as my second experience.
