NorthShore’s annual Holiday Window Treasure Hunt returns

The hunt is back on. The NorthShore Merchants Collective (NSMC) — a cooperative organization of various businesses —will kick off its Holiday Window Treasure Hunt on Friday, Nov. 15.

The hunt features 21 local businesses + benefits nonprofit Northside Neighborhood House for its annual Toy Drive. In other words, this grassroots event combines window shopping, holiday window designs, and supporting local businesses, all for a good cause.

Oh, and there are also prizes on the line — three winners will receive a NorthShore gift basket filled with over $400 of local goodies + certificates.

How to play

  • Pick up a game card at any of the 21 participating businesses.
  • Each spot will hide a treasure in its window display — it’s up to you to find it + match that item with the store on your game card.
  • Every hidden treasure that you correctly find is an entry into the contest — you can turn in your card with just one or all 21 hidden items found. Pro tip: Ask an employee to initial your card for an extra raffle entry.
  • Submit your card by Friday, Jan. 3 (along with a minimum $1 cash donation) to Locals Only Gifts & Goods, Four Bridges Outfitters, or Learning Express Toys.

The three winners will be announced via NSMC’s Facebook + Instagram pages. Happy hunting.
