Olivia Reckert’s “LIFE IN COLOR” solo show

Local artist Olivia Reckert will have a solo show on display at ClearStory Arts from Feb. 3-25.

From painted holiday windows to murals at spots like Whiskey Cowgirl, you’ve probably seen the work of local artist Olivia Reckert all around Chattanooga. If you’re a huge fan of Olivia’s like we are, beginning today, you can check out her solo show “LIFE IN COLOR” for free at ClearStory Arts.

The show will be on display today through Feb. 25, featuring “bold and colorful works on a variety of surfaces” that Olivia has created over the years. The pieces of art on display show a range of traditional and unique mediums + several pieces were created on recycled or sustainable surfaces.

Olivia teamed up with Rik Herrmann of Lobster Bowtie Association to curate the show with huge paintings hung from the ceilings, painted furniture (including a very colorful couch), mannequins, and more.

You can RSVP for the show’s opening reception tonight from 6-8 p.m., or swing by ClearStory Arts during its operating hours to see the show throughout the month.
