Judging by the number of events planned, St. Patrick’s Day — which is March 17 — is a big deal in Chattanooga. And who doesn’t want to celebrate Irish culture, dress in green and pinch people? Wait. Is that still a thing? Nevermind. We do not advise pinching. It’s your call on whether to wear green.

☘️March 14

Hi-Fi Clyde’s St. Patty’s Day Festival | 1 p.m. | Hi-Fi Clyde’s, 122 W Main St. | Free entry | Head out to Hi-Fi Clyde’s for this all-day St. Patty’s music festival with several area bands.

St. Patrick’s Day Chatt Crawl | 2 p.m.-12 a.m. | Various Locations | $15-$20 | Wristbands to the Chatt Crawl include entry to 6 of Chattanooga’s bars, exclusive specials + discounts on food and drinks. The event will also feature live music, a photo booth, scavenger hunt + costume contest.

St. Patrick’s Day Walk | 4 p.m. | Walnut Street Bridge | Free | There’s no official parade this year, but you can take part in this walk across the bridge and end up at BrewHaus for a casual gathering.

St. Paddy’s Party on the Parkway | 6 p.m.-12 a.m.. | The Honest Pint, 35 Patten Parkway | $15 | Patten Parkway construction is NOT going to prevent this annual event. There will be food trucks + nearly a dozen bands. Proceeds benefit SoundCorps.

March St. Patrick’s Day Social and Dance | 7-10 p.m. | First Centenary United Methodist Church, 419 McCallie Ave. | $8 | This St. Patrick’s themed dance party features a DJ + food.

St. Patrick’s Day Pinball Tournament | 2-4 p.m. | Classic Arcade Pinball Museum, 409 Broad St. | $16 | All skill levels are welcome to compete in this kid-friendly pinball tournament.

☘️March 17

St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl | 5-9 p.m. | OddStory Brewing Company, 336 E MLK Blvd. | Free entry, RSVP | This pub crawl at OddStory Brewing Company + Barley Chattanooga will help sponsor 10 youth for the summer Jump Start camp.

St. Patrick’s Day Party | 5 p.m. | Parkway Pourhouse, 801 Riverfront Parkway | Free entry | Try the $2 Green Beer or other beers including $4 Guinness and Highland Gaelic Ale. This event is family-friendly.

St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Train | 7-9 p.m. | Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, 4119 Cromwell Rd. | $90-$120 | Eat traditional Irish cuisine + drink beer from Heaven and Ale on this slow-paced train ride through Chattanooga.

Shamrock Roller Disco | Workshops 2-5 p.m., Disco 7-11 p.m. | The Signal, 1810 Chestnut St. | $26-$75 | Attend a beginner and/or advanced roller workshop before grooving at this roller disco party.
