The Signal, a local live music venue + event space, announced it will move to the former Chattanooga Choo Choo Convention Center location at 21 Choo Choo Ave.

Renovations will be made to the former convention center to turn it into a 20,000-sqft “state-of-the-art concert and event facility,” which will include a concert hall + event space that can be utilized simultaneously or in conjunction for large-scale events.

All current shows on the venue’s website will take place at its current Chestnut Street location (the last performance will be by Mitchell Tenpenny on Feb. 18) + The Signal will begin hosting events in the new location in April 2023.
